It is a comedy, a family story, science fiction and has great action scenes that are strongly choreographed and edited. It also contains a whole host of references to other films.

We zijn trots om deel te hebben mogen nemen aan Shortcutz. We kijken terug op een geslaagde avond. In zeven korte films keken we vanuit verschillende perspectieven naar onder andere de problemen in specifieke gemeenschappen, maar ook naar volkomen irrationele gebeurtenissen, met simpel ‘vermaak’ als enig doel. Onze avond op Curaçao was de laatste internationale vertoning en stemronde voor de uitreiking van de award. 

Sharing is caring. Netflix heeft momenteel een behoorlijk grote selectie van het oeuvre van Pedro Almodóvar. Mocht je niet bekend met hem zjin: Almodóvar is na Luis Buñuel de meest internationaal geprezen Spaanse filmmaker. Zijn doorbraak 'Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios' (1988) is zeker het bekijken waard.
