Curaçao Film Liga Membership Terms and Conditions

1. Membership Period

Membership follows the calendar year and runs from January 1 to December 31. Members who join after January 1 pay the full annual fee. Their membership ends on December 31 of the year they join.

2. Membership Benefits

  • Free admission to every regular CFL screening during your membership year. CFL plans 12 screenings per year, one per month.

  • A personal digital membership card with a QR code

  • Invitations to CFL special events. Most special events are free. When a special event has a fee, members pay the member rate listed in the invitation.


CFL does not guarantee a fixed number of screenings. CFL does not refund fees when a screening is canceled or moved.

3. Membership Fee


The membership fee is ANG 150 per person per year. Existing members pay the full amount by bank transfer no later than [December 31] before the new membership year starts. New members pay the full amount when they join.

Payment reference: your full name as it appears on your membership card, followed by the membership year (example: Maria Martina 2027)


Your membership starts when CFL receives your payment. New members then receive a new digital membership card by email. For existing members, CFL extends the current digital membership card to December 31 of the new membership year. CFL does not refund membership fees for any reason, including missed screenings or early cancellation.

4. Entry to Screenings

  • Show your digital membership card with a valid QR code at the entrance. CFL refuses entry without a valid card.

  • Your membership is personal. Do not share or transfer your card. CFL refuses entry to anyone using another member’s card.

  • Screenings are for members only, unless the invitation states otherwise.

  • Seating is first come, first served. CFL does not reserve seats.

5. House Rules During Screenings


  • Stay silent during the film.

  • Do not use your phone during the film. This includes calls, messages, photos and video.

  • Follow instructions from CFL board members, CFL committee members and venue staff.


CFL board or committee members will ask members who break these rules to leave the screening.

6. Your Responsibilities

  • Have your digital membership card ready on your phone at every screening.

  • Keep your email address and phone number up to date. Send changes to info@curacaofilmliga.com. CFL is not responsible for invitations you miss because of outdated contact details.

7. Ending Your Membership

Your membership renews for the next calendar year unless you or CFL end it.


By you: send an email to info@curacaofilmliga.com before December 31 of your current membership year. Your membership then ends on December 31 of the same year.


By CFL: CFL ends your membership in these cases:

  • You have not paid the annual fee by the payment deadline in section 3.

  • You continue to break the house rules after a written warning from the CFL board.

  • You share or transfer your membership card.


CFL does not refund fees when it ends a membership.

8. Changes and Liability


CFL has the right to update these terms or stop the membership program. CFL informs all members of any changes during the year.

You attend CFL activities at your own risk. CFL is not liable for injury or for damage to or loss of personal belongings during CFL activities.
